Birds Nest

Description

Come stay at this rustic, unique, hand sculpted cob earth house in the heart of the gold country surrounded by wilderness. The house is magical inside and out, with unique curved walls and ceilings, facing a seasonal pond and home to much wildlife. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond. Birds Nest is an earth-built cob house, an ancient and sustainable form of construction, made of mud and natural material sourced from the property and built to last generations. Property is at the end of a road on a five acre property, surrounded by gardens, oak covered hills, wildlife federal land. The house itself was hand built with reclaimed windows and flooring. A cob house is one of the most environmentally friendly designs, built to passively heat and cool.
Best for lovers of nature. Come to unwind and unplug!.
